Jewish Quarter

Fresh egg noodles. Bold toppings. Zero apologies.
Street food that tastes like your grandma made it — but cooler.
Spring 2024
Est. BudapestNokedlish started as a simple question: why isn't there a place in Budapest entirely devoted to nokedli — the soft, pillowy egg noodles that every Hungarian grows up eating?
Founded by Gottreich-Horváth Ádám, who grew up in a multi-generational hospitality family, Nokedlish opened its doors on Vas utca in the spring of 2024 and hasn't looked back. Within months, a second location followed on Dob utca in the heart of the Jewish Quarter.
The concept is deceptively simple: a hand-made noodle base, loaded with toppings that range from classic Hungarian vadas (venison sauce) to inventive Noc 'n' Cheese twists — all served out of a matte-black takeaway box you'll want to dig into immediately.
Get your nokedli fix at home. We're on both major delivery platforms — fresh to your door in minutes.
